Couples Therapy
Couples therapy offers a space for you both to talk openly about what’s happening in your relationship, and to begin finding ways forward together. Sessions are structured so each of you has time to speak and feel heard, while staying focused on what matters most.
As Esther Perel writes, the quality of our relationships determines the quality of our lives. Relationships can bring connection and fulfilment, but they can also feel challenging. Being close to someone involves vulnerability, and over time patterns of conflict or disconnection can develop. Therapy helps you understand these patterns and begin responding to each other in new ways.
In our work, I pay close attention to how you communicate, gently guiding conversations so they feel safer and more constructive. We also build on existing strengths, supporting both repair and reconnection.
Couples seek support for a range of reasons, including:
• Ongoing conflict or repeated arguments
• Sexual or intimacy difficulties
• Considering separation
• Rebuilding trust after betrayal
• The impact of addiction or chemsex
• Navigating open or non-monogamous relationships
I work with you to understand the communication, emotional, and relational dynamics between you, helping you move towards meaningful change. I offer a collaborative, balanced space and work with both LGBTQ+ and heterosexual couples.
